What it does
Mappls is the maps and navigation app from MapmyIndia, which has been mapping India since 1995.
Indian addresses are often written by landmark ("behind the temple, near the bus stand"), which street-and-number maps were not designed for. Mappls gives any place a short digital address code, called an eLoc, that points to the exact doorstep. Its navigation includes road hazard alerts and truck routing.
