Draft · October 2026
This is a draft written for the prototype. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and will change before Takṣa collects real data.
Right now
Takṣa is a prototype. The contribute form, feedback and discussion comments save what you send so a person can review it. Upvotes are saved against a random id kept in your browser, not your name. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
What we collect
We collect only what you type into the forms, and your upvotes:
- your name and email address
- what you submit: a product listing, a problem, a request for help or an offer to mentor
- feedback and comments you post, with the first name and description you give
- your upvotes, and if you choose to add them, your state, your role and whether you would pay
Why we use it
- to review listings and problems before they are published
- to reply to you and match you with a mentor or engineer
- to tell you when something you asked for changes
Listings, problems and comments are published on the site after a person has reviewed them. Answers about your state, role and willingness to pay are only shown as totals. Your email address is never shown publicly. We don't sell personal data.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, and raise a grievance with us.
